This cheeky twat has got the gall to say that our television programmes are ten years behind US shows. However, he does have a point even if he is only referring to the one sort of totally shit programme category of which he is the smug and nauseatingly insincere ringmaster. His shit show is a frightening indication of just how fucking fat and fucking stupid we're all going to be in Britain in ten years time.
In the US, they love all this shit, that's why people like Billy Graham commanded an audience of tens of thousands. Don't forget that certain parts of the States were formed by all the most zealous religious nutters that were too fucking mental to stay in Britain hundreds of years ago. Even in the late seventeenth century, your average British peasant (ignorant, toothless and stinking though he was), could see that the story of Adam and Eve was allegorical rather than literal. He probably wouldn't have used those actual terms, but his syphillitic, plague and pestilence ridden brain could understand this no matter how much home made cider, with bits of twig and beak in it, he undoubtedly drank. His joyless puritan neighbour would shun him and would dream of a land where everyone was free to be teetotal, miserable and have a stupid fucking beard with no mousache and shoes with big buckles.
Ironically, Lee and Thomas' Jerry Springer the Musical was widely condemned despite the fact that it contained an artistic merit and sense of dignity that has never been within a trillion light years of the real programme, which receives no such criticism. Who complained about this? The direct descendants of the original pious morons who were jeered toothlessly by the skepitcal locals as they prepared to risk death and disease to sail across the Atlantic in a primitive boat, eating only biscuits rather than just be a bit pragmatic, show some humility, and get on with their neighbours. The same fucking tight-lipped, anal morons who take themselves too seriously and as a result can't understand simple concepts such as irony, allegory or sense of humour.
US tv is shit though, and anybody who thinks Friends or Frasier is good is just the sort of easily led cunt that thinks Starbucks is good. We sell the US more formats than they sell us, and Spinger can fuck right off back as far as anybody who counts is concerned. Anybody with any sense is at work anyway, so the people who watch his show are Kilroy's audience of borderline mental health cases and unemployable simpletons. Look at Kilroy now, nobody is in any doubt about what a total and absolute cock he is. Springer is the same, only much worse because he's American as well. However, this is the one thing that fools most of our own ignoramuses into believing that he is in fact a genuine broadcaster with the smallest amount of integrity.
